In this course students will be utilizing Thomas Friedman's book Hot, Flat, and Crowded and The New York Times as tools for exploring the dynamic changes of the world in which they do and will live and work. Through discussion and individual and group projects, students will discover how the seismic shifts of the flattening world have positive and negative impacts personally, locally, nationally and internationally.
