Dr. Will Sheppard is the Assistant Director for West Campus in University Housing, Adjunct Faculty for the College of Education, and First Year Seminar.  As a first-generation college student, Dr. Sheppard’s academic focus areas are supporting student’s overall success and a sense of belonging in higher education.  Dr. Sheppard was co-awarded the National Resource Center for the First Year Experience and Students in Transition, Paul P. Fidler research grant with Dr. Brandy Bryson on Black Male Brilliance: Defining Success of First Year Black Men at Historically Black Colleges and Universities.  Dr. Sheppard holds a Bachelors in Physical Education K-12, Masters in Exercise Science, and a Doctorate in Education Administration. Fun fact, he is a tumbling coach with over 20 years of experience.
