Kelly Renwick

Kelly Ann Renwick is completing her PhD in Geography from McGill University in Montréal, Québec. Her research focuses on the influence of low social support on premature mortality and hospital utilization among elderly populations in Canada. She is a health geographer with research interests that include the social determinants of health, health inequalities, population health, and disease ecology. She received both her Bachelor of Science in Biology and Master of Arts in Geography from Appalachian State University. Prior to beginning her PhD, Kelly taught geography and world studies at Appalachian State University.
