This seminar is designed to engage students, faculty and librarians in a process of shared inquiry and critical thinking that is centered in the broad interdisciplinary topic of psychical research.  This course offers students an opportunity to learn how to apply critical scientific thinking, utilize basic qualitative and quantitative research methodologies, and understand proper protocol and ethics in researching various phenomena that are known as psychical, or paranormal.  Library and Internet inquiries will be used to enhance a traditional seminar format.  Small group activities and individual research projects will be required.  Field research is encouraged.
