Avery Dame-Griff
Avery Dame-Griff is a Visiting Assistant Professor of Gender and Womens' Studies at Appalachian State, as well as the primary curator of the Queer Digital History Project. His research focuses on how the early Net transformed LGBT politics in the 1980s and 1990s. He received his BA (English) from the University of Alabama, Tuscaloosa, MA (American Studies) from the University of Kansas, and PhD (Women's Studies) from the University of Maryland, College Park. He has five cats and opinions about barbecue.
