This course will examine a variety of letters, beginning with famous/infamous letters from history and culminating with a look at email etiquette and letter writing. Students will look at famous love letters, historical letters, infamous letters written by serial killers and/or criminal masterminds, the psychology of letter writing, an analysis of handwriting, the epistolary novel, and the decline of letter writing coinciding with the increase in email technology. Students will write different kinds of letters, participating in letter writing throughout the semester
